Camping in a field next to the quirky Bubblecar museum
The Beeches is a small campsite set in a field next to the eccentric Bubblecar museum - a collection of weird and wonderful cars from the past. There's a small café at the museum, and picnic tables outside on the campsite.

Belton House, Belton nr Grantham (9 miles) – as seen in productions of Jane Eyre, Pride and Prejudice, and Tom Jones, the 17th century country house enjoys some astutely laid-out gardens and a swathe of parkland; 01476 566116; NT site. Or you can nose around the similarly decorous village for free.
