Getting There

Train station: Hexham (18 miles) – Carlisle to Newcastle line. Bishop Auckland, on the main Tees Valley line, is 22 miles away. From Bishop Auckland, bus no. 101 travels daily to Stanhope, but it’s a bit of a trek from there to the site.
