Nearby attractions
Hay-on-Wye (½ mile) – the town famously boasts more than 30 bookshops, the vast majority of them selling second hand or antiquarian tomes, with over a million books between them. There’s a helpful ‘bookshop map’ available at the campsite. Paddles and Pedals, Hay (½ mile) – hire a kayak or Canadian canoe and head off down the River Wye; 01497 820604.
